Thanks for stopping by the Damon Tucci Photography blog. We are a boutique studio based in College Park, Florida that specialize in documenting weddings. As the name states, Damon James Tucci is the lead artist and I am Rosy, his partner in life, business and sometimes crime. Just kidding on that last part, but as two people that live and work together in a hundred year old bungalow, that is only 1350 sq feet, we often remark that our lives are not quite the norm.

Damon is a, what you see, is what you get, kind of guy. I have come to realize that being a professional artist means that you give a piece of yourself every time you share your creative talents. So, being real and completely open just comes with the job.

His approach to shooting weddings is a blend of styled-fashion (shots that he sets up) and documentation (journalistic moments). He prefers to work around the light, rather than just the background and he is a magician at making you feel at ease on biggest day of your life.

Aside from being a father, surfer, writer, teacher and musician, he is the funniest person I know. Everything else I could say about him, is evident in his art. As you look through this site, sincerely I hope you will get to know him, the way I have for the past nine years.

AFR Networker Sneak Peak

Every year AFR (American Furniture Rental) hosts one of the most amazing special events industry networker’s in Central Florida. This year’s theme was “CouNTDOWN to CHaos” and hundreds of vendors descended on the Majestic Event Center to witness the destruction. The long list of sponsor’s, which included 5 caterers, 2 florists, lighting, drape and entertainment to mention a few, created a scene of anarchy and devastation. Which by the way, makes for great photographs.
