For any pro photographer using Nikon or thinking of trying it out, NPS (Nikon Professional Services) is an invaluable tool. It won’t cost you a dime and you get to test any peice of gear you want. I know this sounds too good to be true, but it’s real.
I have been shooting Nikon for decades and I was fortunate enough to find out about NPS when I was at Disney. Just this year I got to try out both the D3X and D700 before I decided to make the investment. I always get the best customer service and I am at the front of the line whenever new gear is released. It doesn’t matter what you shoot, this is a must have for any professional photographer.
In order to become an NPS member you must be a full time photographer and meet a minimal equipement requirement. They let you try out the gear for a couple of weeks. Think of it, you actually get to shoot and test everything, so you can make an informed decision.
I have said it before and I will again, Nikon gear has never once let me down. This just makes it even easier.
