Pet Portrait Charity Event

Okay, it’s late. And I am dog tired, but I just had to post a few of the pictures from today’s event.

WARNING, THESE PICTURES ARE SUPER CUTE!

Seriously, I (heart) dogs and these pictures are just as adorable and lovable as the people that participated. And here I thought I was the only crazy fool that has my dog on a seriously high pedestal. In our house we joke that Zeke (the destroyer Tucci) has everything but a college fund. Well, today I found my people. And, oh how comforting it is to know that I am not the only human that lets their dog jump into bed with them and spends obscene amount of money on any American made toy and the latest doggie designer whatever. Sometimes I think it’s a sickness, but I often wonder what my life will be like when Zeke is not here to stinky it up. The truth of the matter is, I am just so thankful that he puts up with us (us being the Damo and Rosy show).

Check out these pictures from today’s shoot. I apologize that I wasn’t able to included every pooch. I am DOG tired and Zeke is patiently waiting for me to hit the hay, so this is all I got. I promise to have everything posted by Tuesday night.

Thank you to everyone that came out to support the Buddies for Life rescue organization. We love you! Enjoy………

Introducing Jackson Berstein

The holidays are great because we get to see friends that we don’t often see. The day after Christmas we were pleased to make Jackson Berstein’s acquaintance for the first time. His parents, Janine and Dan were one of our couples who have become dear friends. Unfortunately, they live up in Philly and we don’t have the opportunity to see them much. Jackson was the perfect baby, really. He actually made it look easy and with those giant bright blue eyes you can’t help but fall in love.

Cutest Dog in The World

Okay, I know I am totally bias, but he really is adorable. Oh and by the way, this shot would have never been possible without the good people at Ranger’s Pet Outpost & Retreat. In addition to grooming, we board Zeke here whenever we go out of town and they make sure he is nice and tired by the time he comes home. After all, a tired dog is a happy dog.

All you dog owners in O-town need to check them out. I am a very picky mother and they always go above and beyond with my little Zekie-boo-boo.

How Cute Am I!

I'mmmm too sexy for this hat, too sexy for this hat........

Buddies For Life, Pet Portraits

It’s been just over a year since Zeke joined our family. Whenever we photography him (which is not nearly as often as I would like), I can’t help but think about how lucky we were to find him. In September 2008 we hosted a weekend of couture doggie portrait sessions at the old studio. We sold out within hours and proceeds from the 42 sessions went to the local rescue organization Buddies For Life, which is run by a wonderful lady named of Patti. For the very last session Patti brought in 3 Rhodesian Ridgeback/Lab mix puppies that she had just rescued.  They were 7 weeks old and were on the hunt for good families to adopt them. Patti was gracious enough to let me foster one and a week later I was hooked.

Since then Zeke has become a full blown Tucci. He loves to run like me and believe it or not, he has Damon’s sense of humor. He has all of the latest and greatest toys and a custom made dog bed. I guess you could say we are a bit doggie centric in this family. Zeke has brought so much love and joy into our lives. The other day I read that people who own pets live happier and longer lives. We couldn’t agree more.

Sit, Stay, Say Cheese

Sit, Stay, Say Cheese

If you or someone you know is thinking about adding a furry friend to your family, please consider adopting from a rescue organization like Buddies For Life. There are over 6 million cats and dogs in shelters in the United States. Over half of these will be euthanized, so please spayed/neuter your pet.

P.S. Zeke is the first one in the third row. His brother Copper is the last one in the second row.
