Yesterday we hung out at Cocoa Beach with our friends Kate and David. The waves were perfect for learning and Ty caught her first wave. I think she’s a natural!

This is my journey of a quad.
I have been working on this in my spare time for the last 2 weeks.
Here is the blank fresh out of the mold.
We have drawn out the template. This will be the shape of our new fish.
This has been cut and the outer crust skinned. Back to the shaping bay (garage) for some refinements.
Here are some color options. We are going for an old school resin tint look.
Deck is prepped and ready to laminate.
We ended up going going electric green. It should look cool when we polish it up.
Now we have to lam the deck.
Deck is lammed. Now we have to sand and get ready for the hotcoat. I have to actually WORK now so it will probably be a week before I get to work on the 6′3″ fish again. She is about halfway done and begining to look like something.
